    Our expertise includes diagnosing and treating pediatric and adult head and neck cancers, sinus and allergy conditions, voice and swallowing problems, hearing and balance disorders, sleep apnea, thyroid and salivary gland disease. Our dual-certified surgeons also provide facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

    In addition to educating our patients, we apply our expertise to teaching the next generation of medical professionals. Our team leads residency programs and holds faculty appointments at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

      Audiology and Neurotology

      Our audiologists diagnose, treat and manage hearing loss and balance problems, from rehabilitation to cochlear implant programming and support. Our neurotologists provide medical and surgical care when conditions affect the ears, balance system, temporal bone, skull base and related structures of the head and neck.

      Pediatric Otolaryngology

      Our ENT surgeons treat pediatric conditions that range from ear infections, enlarged tonsils and sleep apnea to neck masses, vascular malformations, facial trauma and laryngotracheal reconstruction (widening of the windpipe).

      Medical and Surgical Care

      Chronic sinusitis affects 12 percent of U.S. adults. Our ENT surgeons offer specialized medical and minimally invasive surgical treatment for nasal and sinus problems, including allergies, asthma, structural blockages or polyps and chronic sinus infections.

      Coordinated Care

      Our ENT surgeons provide customized surgical and medical care for head and neck cancers, including thyroid, parathyroid and throat cancers. Our coordinated team educates patients about their disease and treatment options, which may include endoscopic approaches and robotic surgery.

      Medical and Surgical Care

      Our ENT team diagnosis and treat conditions that make breathing and communication difficult. We treat patients of all ages, from early childhood through adults, with voice disorders, airway and swallowing issues and throat cancer. Treatments include medication, injections and microsurgery.

    • Reconstructive Surgery

      Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgeries

      Our expertise in both ENT and plastic surgery treats facial deformities, traumatic injuries, facial paralysis and post-cancer reconstruction. Our surgeons hold board certifications for both otolaryngology/head and neck surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
