My time at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital has been more than fulfilling for my future career. This Program allows you to experience and explore all aspects of podiatry including surgical trauma, forefoot surgery, complex reconstructive surgery, primary podiatric foot care, pediatrics and wound care. The programs close relationship with the orthopedic department also gives great exposure to complex trauma and strengthens our surgical skills. To say that my time here has prepared me for my career is an understatement. The attending’s and staff take the time to shape you into an adequate and proficient podiatric surgeon and compassionate well-rounded Doctor. The Roanoke Valley is an amazing place to raise a family, not only with all the outdoor activities, but the close community. My husband and I were so fortunate to have the time and opportunity to raise our daughter here in Roanoke. I cannot thank everyone enough for the time they have taken to teach me. I will miss all of my colleagues but am eager and excited to take the next step in my career.
